Dr. Tiffany Dotson

Dr. Tiffany Dotson is an HR Talent, Learning and Leadership Development scholar, practitioner, and strategist

with more than 25 years of developing employee cultures that drive growth and business strategy. She excels

at developing talent strategies and learning methods for employees, leaders, and teams that align with

strategic business priorities on a global scale.

Her current position is Vice President, Head of Enterprise Learning and Development at Liberty Mutual

Insurance, where she oversees the strategic direction for developing the pipeline of talent for 50,000 people

at all levels globally. She is actively involved in C-Suite succession planning, psychometric assessments,

leadership development for: women, high potentials, historically excluded groups, and a variety of other

targeted development initiatives. She designed and implemented the first enterprise-wide flagship leadership

development program at Liberty Mutual to develop the ability of 7,500 leaders to create engaging and

inclusive environments as well as drive higher individual and organizational performance. This program led

to a 35% increase in employee-manager sentiment which far exceeded the board imperative to improve

employee engagement.

Dr. Dotson also pioneered the company-wide digital learning infrastructure, making learning more accessible

by evolving learning initiatives from instructor-led, in-person experiences to learner owned, multiple learning

modalities including: social learning technologies, mobile, digital learning paths, self-directed learning, virtual

instructor-led, podcasts, micro-learnings, videos, gamification, virtual reality, and interactive toolkits. She

effectively manages multiple million-dollar budgets to generate value to fill both upskilling and reskilling needs

for organizations. Previously, she has held leadership roles at JPMorgan Chase, Pfizer, United Airlines, and CVS.

Dr. Dotson currently serves on the Boston’s Chamber of Commerce Women’s Leadership Advisory Board,

is a fellow at LEAD360 Think Tank @ George Town and holds an officer role on the board of LearnLong

Institute.

Dr. Dotson provides leadership tips for the savvy professional. She is a Neuroleadership Institute frequently

invited guest speaker and a contributor to various books, newsletters, and magazines. She also speaks at

leadership conferences, universities, and professional organizations on various subjects including: leading with

compassion and empathy, the connections between our brain's learning and leadership, growth mindset,

leadership agility, and four-quadrant brain theory. Her upcoming book, “Live a Life of Significance...evolve

beyond success” is scheduled for publication in 2022.

 

Dr. Dotson holds both a Doctorate and Master’s degrees in Adult Learning and Organizational Leadership from

Columbia University, where she is also an adjunct professor of Executive Development. She is active in her

community, mentoring pre-adolescent and teenagers in developing socially appropriate workplace skills.

In her spare time, Dr. Dotson enjoys studying history, traveling abroad, salsa dancing and photography.
