Rodney Gillespie is a Global executive with broad
leadership experience. He is currently the Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Solid Tumor for Janssen Oncology, a Johnson and Johnson Company.

This includes Strategic leadership and P&L responsibility for the Prostate, Bladder, and Lung Cancer franchises. While with Janssen Oncology for approx. two years, Rodney spent the previous thirteen years with AstraZeneca (AZ), a Global Pharmaceutical company. 

 

Rodney began his career with AZ in the United States
where he held several senior commercial roles in market access, marketing, and sales leadership, before assuming posts in the UK and in South Africa. Through his role as Country President for AZ in South Africa, a position he held from 2016 through mid- 2019, Rodney had overall
responsibility for the P&L, strategy, and direction of the
company.

 

Rodney has a BS Degree in Commerce & Engineering, 

from Drexel University, Philadelphia, PA, and an MBA, from the University of Washington, Seattle, WA.
